About Us

The Institute of Public Health (IPH) informs public policy to support healthier populations in Ireland and Northern Ireland. 

Our work focuses on promoting health and wellbeing, improving health equity, and reducing health inequalities throughout the lifecourse.

We work with a variety of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community organisations, and policymakers at local and national level to ensure that public health policies are equitable and based on the best available evidence.
